| ok what color?.....
ok i finally got the body stretched and pretty much ready for paint. still need to do the lights, and the door handles, mirrors, etc arent installed... so what color should i go with? still not sure if i am running these wheels or not Last edited by emaxxjeremy; 09-09-2008 at 05:54 PM. |

that looks like a lot of detail work you did on the crew cab (nice work btw) so I'd use a lighter color, even white, to showcase the work. did you make the headlights or is that not the tamiya f350? those look much better than the lensed ones I usually see... |

i like the suede gray as it sits now, but it looks like you have too much detail to leave that rig in primer. something close to the gray/ silver you have now would be nice. perhaps a light metal flake. |

Copper, burnt orange...something like that. Replace the beadlock rings or get new wheels. Some of these in 1.9 would be sick |

| Ummmm, thats gonna stink. Tamiya copper is a pretty sweet color IMO. You did a kickass job on the body.

Yes, just let it cure for two or three weeks then put a lacquer over it. Testors high-gloss would work. |
