Default Germanys TCS Projekt TrueScaleCrawler

Hey Guys,

after finishing my Jeep Wrangler Project i decide to build a 4 door Car.
So i looked out for the Pajero and want to put them on a new SCX10 Chassis.
I want to make this car as scale as i can and have car for driving and for show.
Well we will see how it goes, here a some first shots.

all the red lines i wat to cut, so there is a lot to do with my dremel.

Next step in the documentation

Thats what i have done today.

C-holmes is in a new position
Doors are out, dont know what to now
the rear fender is in a new position

The facts:

Do you like the big sun roof, i dont know if i should close it...

What do you think about this sunroof?

and that are Pics from the progress of today:

Thre is a lot to fill and to sand, but i think first i will do the hard work, and the details later...

Thats whats done today,

i decide to change the servo mount position and after a little modding it is mounted now between the Frame and sits a lot higher than before.
I think that looks much more scale than on the top of the axle.

the new Rock Creepers and the HPI Rims are on the Chassis, these are much better than the bigger proline tires.

Novaks 55t and the Rooster ESC are also installed, but i cant moove the whole car from front to back with hands, is that ok????
If i turn the big spur gear than it mooves???

and now with the Endoscelett on...

do you think it is to high?

and thats the latest update, i am not sure to make this as its shown, but its just an experiment of how it will look like.

Actually the Cage is getting ready,

i decide to build it first, because i have problems to install it after the body mods are done.

Also the steering is changed, i mount the servo between the frame and made my own linkage, because i dont want to see the Servo in front of the Car.

The Axial Gear is no longer on board, i made it with a RC4WD and a Scaleoffroad part, the car is running perfect, and i can build a flat floor inside the Car.

Hey Guys,

next Step in the Project:

The dashboard is in , the floor and the rear panels are also build and step by step it lokks a little bit more like a car.

The dash become foll lights and instruments soon.

The old rollcage is no longer, i build a new one to fit it more with the other components in the interieur, i dont know if i build a full cage in brass, because it will be difficult withe the drivers legs and the dash. We will see.
Here are the pics of today

more in a few days i think!

on and on and on...

So, taday i tried to build a battery case that can be installed as hidden as possible. I build a case for my 7,2V sticks and put it under the rear floor of the car.

I will fill the space on the sides and give the case a finishing look of the original gas tank or something like this.

This is only the "rolling box2, not finished at the moment. I put it just in to see how it looks and if it is maybe to big or something else.

The battery fits very good in the case, so it wont be any nioses while driving.

The rear section is now complete, only the details are missing.

online.net/palb/alben/67/2258867/1024_3137623333323134.jpg[/img]

And a little mistake on the front light, wrong glue i think, now it looks like the weather round the london tower....
So, i will do it again!

What do you think about the battery box, Go or NoGo???

The Tail lights are theoriginal Pajero from the Tamiya body.

I cut them out and removed the inner parts, then i rebuild the whole case around them, thats it!

Today i finished the battery case, i made the last Part to hie the complete case.

The i build the next part of the roll cage, it will become the spare Tire mounts and hold the battery case in a second way.

Now we also have both Taillights

Also some news on the other side.
And even Arnold has taken seat and fits perfect in front of the dash.

Thats it for today...

thats what ive done today...

I decide to build up the race Tank and some fire fighting parts

the tank is complete with metal tubes and all parts that been needed.

i have to direct the parts only a little bit, and no one can see my ECS or the Light unit later.
That is what comes inside of the tank, the electric Light unit

This is a actuall coming out part from switzerland, it can all thing that the Tamiya MFC can do, and some things more, but 10 times smaller than the Tamiya Mfc.
So i am the first customer i think, that use, build and test this item to the bone... we will see, it looks great and i am happy to test it.
Thats it for today...

The last Steps bevor painting the body...

I sand and filled the body, removed the window frame on the rear windows, open a litte surprise on the rear left side to hide the main switcher behind it.

That was going more easy than i thought

That the progress for today, and i will start painting in the next days
