Looks great Tim!

I just purchased another Rover body so I can do a rebuild of the one I built and sold last year...can't wait!

Well, after beating on this thing in Utah and pulling out a 3rd place finish, I figured it was time for some foam tuning. I've been running the stock Pitbulls foams and they are way too soft. I've known this for a year, but I'm lazy and hate changing foams. When I was ordering new foams for my 2.2 IROKs I decided to get some Crawler Innovations closed cell foams for this one too. Ended up with a huge box of foams and started to sort through them and see which ones fit. The 1.9 mid height were a little too tall (my wheels are larger diameter than some) so I went with the short inners. I used soft outers in front and medium outers in the back. These feel perfect, and I'll be testing them out on the rocks tomorrow. I think they are a little taller too, sweet !

The foams will make all the difference for you! I'm sure you'll like them. If you need some help with them just let me know. Eddie has nailed it with the closed cell foams maybe I shouldn't have told you my secret.

Getting there - Tim was cool enough to paint this one for me with the 34D (they match! ). I have the links mocked up with all thread before I get the titanium ones. This thing looks like it will be quite the climber for a class 2.

Planning on working on the front axle tomorrow - I have some CreationFab tubes and XR10's. This has been a really fun truck to work on.

Any thoughts on paint for the body?
