Default Project H3 (update!)

Yup, I leave for Montana on Tuesday at 7 am...

Yup, I still need a class 1 rig

Yup, I have about 24 hours to build it.

Build specs to follow, fortunately I have a hobby shop in my basement I have no idea what all I'm using yet. but I'll find it all as I go.

Starting with this;

-standard oldschool scx-10 (kit not built yet.)
-And this H3 hardbody I have had for a while, fortunate for me, I already stripped it and primed it

Loose inspiration (slant back will have to wait.)

Ok so I found the following;

holmes ESC and 30t motor
Hitec 5645mg for steering (I think I have another If I need a winch servo)
Axial hardened diff gears
axial hardened lockers
MSD wheels or Tamiya hummer wheels (depends on fender coverage)
Hand bros CMS
Proline shocks
RC4wd stompers
RRP hardened tranny gears

Good thing I hoard ish eh?

Flip the tranny around and you could hide it in the seat.

Aren't you guys leaving yet? I wanna get going. The sooner the better. Come on Andy, you've had what...a YEAR!

Looks good so far. Maybe you should finish this in the Tahoe tomorrow night?

Sliders made, Front bumper trimmed

Figure out Winch and spare tire carrier, and time to blow apart for paint (sitting at 35 pts right now)

not bad for something that didnt exist 12 hours ago...
