'Stacey Davids Sergeant Rock'

Well earlier on this year I was asked by Tom at Rc4wd to build a Replica of Stacey Davids Sergeant Rock
To be shown on his Television show in America.

Bit Daunting trying to get that body looking right but i accepted the challenge and a Deadline was set.

This build could not have been possible without the help of '65efi5.0'
His thread here is truly inspirational and I was able top secure one of his Prototype bodies to use for this build.

It was a shame to cut it up but needs must and I'm not scared!!




After the cab was pretty straight the rest sort of all came good.




Started work on the back




Guns rivets bottles and battery were all scratch built from styrene.



Inner Front Arch details




Paint was a Standard Tamiya Colour which I cant remember think it was Pearl Silver but dont quote m eon that.






The Interior was kept very simple due to time constraints but it looks the part all the same.


Winwows have actual Rubber surrounds!!

Rear Details



The guns are fully Moveable



Chassis is a Standard Trailfinder 2 but running Billet Blackwells Axles.


Wheels are custom Anodized Rc4wd 1.9 Miltant Beadlocks Tyres are 1.9 Iroks






And then it was off in a box to be prepped for the Show

Decals where added and the truck tested.
That Aired last night.

Its a long shot because I got mine in February whether he has pulled any more from the Mould I really couldn't tell you.

I think there was around 8 or 10 I only know a few people that have them.

I watched the original build of this body on scale 4x4 and thought that was the most awesome build I've ever seen. After seeing the show last night and what you did with his original work I just have to say the journey of this vehicle between two craftsmen is freakin' awesome.

I can only imagine what your shipping issue felt like! Holy heart attack! But...it arrived. I've many times wondered how much to set the insurance for in case of disaster...$500...$1000...$2000....more? You really can't put a price on one off custom work.
