Default time to start my pajero build!!!!!!!!



started seriously workin on my pajero,i dont have a ton of time to work on it so ill probably have updates only on the weekends.ANYWHO...it started as a stock honcho kit.

But now.....
Scored a pajero body already comp cut for $15!!!!!!
Hand made cms/esc plate
shortened rear links
novak goat(someday ill get a holmes set up!!!)
1.9 rc4wd oem steelies w/ 1.9 rok lox
stock trans
stock axles
rc4wd competition stinger front bumper/dingo rear with reign rc tire carrier and home made body mount.
The front of the body is held on with 3m extreme plastic velcro(i dont know what its called, sorry)

Im gonna do a full interior but im just having a real hard time figuring it all out!!!! Its my first scale build so im just taking my time

Also wanted to get a shot of the body mount for the rear

i dont have high hopes for it but we'll see.i have more pics but the build is nothing special,but if you wanna see sometging let me know.

Hey everyone.just a small update,its been a few weeks since the last post.i made my first interior.i know its not that great but its my first time playin with styrene!!!!!!!

i still gotta make a doghouse for the trans,finish the dash details,paint,and a roll cage which is gonna b made out of styrene too.i also made a hurst style quarter stick shifter,kinda proud of that but ive seen better lol .no pics of the shifter but ill put some up tonite

Looks good. How did you bend the styrene? I have an ax10 im about to build a dash for and would like to do something similar to yours.

Thank you!!!!!! Theres a dash top and face (where the gauges go) and an L piece.the top glues to one side and the face glues to the other.but the sides (door panels) are angle cut so the whole dash is on an angle. Hope that helps.

That shift is looking good!

How did you actually bend the dash piece? I havent workd with styrene before.

nice I was thinking of doing something with my pigero not sure what yet... but to the question he said its a L shape small side of the L was to the one side and Long side to the other side making it a normal curve, if you then fill it and sand it down you can make it a easy curve to make it look like you took a rolling pin and a lighter to it

Thank you!!!sorry if i didnt explain it so well. I didnt have to bend anything,its just a piece of angle with 2 bigger strips(1-dash top,1-dash front) glued to each flat surface of the angle.i hope the pics help!!!!!

Oh ok thats not what i was thinking. But still very cool and a bit easier than i was thinking.

A mate of mine has a pajero like yours as a scaler though. He was thinking of selling it until i showed him yours...... now he doesnt know what to do hahaha

Lol im glad the pics helped!!! Search for a pajero build called "project wtf" thats the build that got me into comp cut pajero's.not sure who built it but they did a incredible job!!!!!!!

Just a small update.i got the front half of the interior done and painted i just gotta fit the gauges,seat,steering wheel,and shifter.im not to sure what im gonna do with the cargo area behind the doors but i got somewhat of an idea.i did get a dog house built but im not really feeling it lol the body is gonna be a light green and the interior is a dark gray.ill try to post some pics later tonite

I just used some krylon fusion x2(or something like that) spray paint.

i think the grey will go good with the light green i got.sorry for the slow updates,life got a little hectic but i am gonna finsh this thing lol
