Default RC4WD Trail Stomper Build

The RC4WD Trail Stomper I think is a great foundation to build the scaler you always wanted.
Took me four year's to get this far, Just buying part's when I could afford them.
I know to many it's just an entry level scaler which it is really but a Great Place To Start.

Ya did a great job man. Suspension looks stiff ? I got one too. Finally went scx 10 axles for cheaper durability and I couldn't stand the front pinion angle. The C's weren't clockable at all and to try n relieve the pinion angle at all it'd steer into the ground. I've had it a few years not. Recently I ground off the rear shock hoops, and scratch made a flatbed that tilts. These trail stompers are few and far between so whenever I see another I like to stop n look. I liked the stock electronics a lot! Also I run a mini lipo now too because it's light and less space. I'm running nearly the exact front bumper too! I got the stinger hoop instead of the lower one. Really good looking truck. Thanks for sharin.

Thank's ~ northkona & CrawlinMike ~ For Liking my Truck & Garage.
What I like about the Stomper it's easy to upgrade, like the axles.
RC4WD D-40 / D-35 / K-44 / Yota & Yota II Axles, Bolt right on to the leaf springs.
And like CrawlinMike & Others where to adapted Axial SCX10 axles on to the stomper.
Tamiya F-350 High Lift axles fit also, Don't know it there much better then the T-Rex 60's ?
Not hating on the Stock T-Rex 60 axles, There good for lite trail use.
The stock radio gear is great also. But I do need a higher torque servo for the taller tires.
Defiantly the stock shocks need to go first, Any good quality 90 or 100mm ones will do.

What the Trail Stomper really is, ~ It's just a cheaper version of the Original Trail Finder.
The Original Trail Finder came stock with D-40 Axles ~ R2 2 Speed Transmission
& Metal Drive Shafts. ~ Also the chassis came in Red, Black & Silver
Was the best scale truck chassis on the market at the time, If you could afford one.
If I remember right it was around $350. Just as a roller. / No RTR where available back then.
RC4WD back then, Also gave you the option of Wheels & Tires, And a Link Setup when ordered.
