Thank you! The rods will hold up just fine. Besides at the rate I am building OTTER it will be years before he's pounding the rocks... The axles are RC4WD K44. I have yet to run them, but have only heard good things from others who have.

Looks really good man. I need to teach myself how to braze so I can do a tube chassis for my crawler.

like the ant wrap bar. its sweet!

Thanks Leadchucker. You should learn to braze. It's easy and you can make a lot of your own gear.

Thanks mjderstine. I am very happy with the way they turned out.

I made a little progress tonight and got the drive train all mounted up in its permanent configuration. Also got the steering servo mounted.

I noticed you have black springs under your reds for helpers. Are the red leaf springs to soft and get a lot of axle wrap?

The red leafs are very soft and do suffer from axle wrap. That's why I made the track bars for the rear. I still need to do the front end too.

Thanks Blake. The chino just didn't quite work for this application. The t-case sits up higher than the chino will go.
