Default PROJECT: Brute!!!!

So I've been want to try my hand at styrene. So I figured what the hell ill try a brute!! This is the first time I've ever tackled anything like this. I'm pretty happy with how it's turning out. This stuff is real easy to work with.

I needed a little break from the fumes!!lol
So I started messing around with the chassis. I'm using a scx frame and axles. And a r3 tranny and hammer transfer. Here it is all mocked up!!!

Also started to mock up the 3-link and pan hard mount!!

Still got a lot to do!!!

Nice start! Don't be afraid to try. The setup looks good. It should be a really sharp rig by the time it's done.

just keep that cap on the glue. it likes to evaporate pretty quickly if the cap is left off. these bottle also topple easily. i made a holder out of a chunk of foam that it fits in like a coozie so it wont fall and spill everywhere.

everyone is making one of these now...

Yeah I know these seem to be the craze right now! Lol. It just seemed like a good project for a first timer! Haha. Yea I've noticed the glue kinda got thick. I got to head to the LHS to pick some more stuff.
