Default Hacking a new bright body question

Went for a fun run to our new favorite place before the snow covers it up, and decided the new bright body I got is to heavy and tippy.so I had an idea pop in to my head to hack it up. I got started cutting it out, my question is...

What's the best way to re stick the plastic back to its self, and to fill in the holes shoe goo and dry wall tape , and just bondo for the holes?

My idea

YES! Drywall tape can fix it. But I would not recommend it for this application.

Spend some time searching the forum. Drywall anything will not be appropriate here. Superglue for the plastic, and yes, bondo for the holes. But there's a lot more you'll need to learn to make this turn out. Search, read and learn from the many builds on here to do the body work. It's all in here. Best of luck.

I use CA glue and ABS pipe cement since the body is made from ABS. Also, the ABS cement can be used as a filler since it is sandable once cured. It fuses to the body to make a strong bond. And for the finer filling areas, I use Bondo automotive spot putty.

ABS cement
