| Mitsubishi Pajero Xtreme Trial II FLAC
With the first Mitsubishi Pajero Xtreme Trial nearing its completion it's time for another one! The-Gamer Autos presents the new vehicle of the Xtreme Trial Series The choice is once again a Mitusishi Pajero but this time with big differences. The chassis wont be a CC01, but instead, it will be a rail chassis and it will use a front axle and not IFS, therefore the FLAC (Front Live Axle Conversion - just made that up! ). The idea is to use a 3-link with Panhard bar in the front and 4-link in the back. The transmission will be in the engine bay and it will use a transfer case. It is also intended to have a more interesting interior than the first Pajero. Now, some photos of the parts already gathered by TGA for this project. Body and front axle are on there way. The chassis supplied trough Jorge Fortunato Customs. 1.9 SDI wheels with -5mm offset. 1.9 Axial Rip Saw tires. GCM transfer case. RC4WD Disruptor Planetary Transmission. RC4WD Black Widow rear axle. And the start of the project with the servo mount. The servo is a Mi from Hobbyking. |

| Re: Mitsubishi Pajero Xtreme Trial II FLAC Update 2 Drilling, drilling and more drilling... In order for the transfer case to be centered in the chassis, I had to make an aditional hole. Then I bended some steel strip and made the mount for the transfer case. The way I´m mounting the t-case, she stays above the rails avoiding damage from below. Later I will build a skid plate for more protection and to mount the links. After, I made the mounts for the transmission that had to be redone. The pictures shows the old mounts. Then I concluded that I needed to mount the servo vertically to gain some space. |

| Re: Mitsubishi Pajero Xtreme Trial II FLAC Update 3 Recicled an old t-case mount, and made the mount for the servo. Rear cross member. Probably a place for a rear winch. Checking the body positioning. Then, with CAD () I started with the inteiror. After I turned to the styrene. I wish styrene was easy to work as cardboard... Looks like Sam is geting one more Pajero! |
