Talking SCX10 G6 Hacker Build

Hi I received a Axial SCX10 G6 for Christmas. I wanted to build it with a bunch of power. But I didn't want to go with the normal set-ups like Tekin or other. (I am not throwing off on Tekin, I just want to be different.) I seen the Hacker Tensoric SC ESC, and 4 Pole 540 motor. And said that will be perfect. I got the ESC and the 4200kv motor to go with it. I also picked up a Castle BEC and Savox 1230sg servo for this build. I have also installed all Robertson racing gears in the tranny. The grease I will be using for this build is Royal Purple ULTRA-PERFORMANCE GREASE. If RP is good enuf for the China Star Bullet Train, it is good enuf for me. Ok I will shut up now and get to the Pictures.

I decided to use the stock Maxxis Tires, with 2.2 wheels. You can also see the Gmade shocks, I didn't even build the Icon shocks. This is also after cleaning up the wiring. All the battery wire and motor wires are 12ga Deans wet noodle, with Deans plugs.

Wow that's a high Kv motor for it!! I guess you don't plan on going slow with it.

I have more goodies in the mail, some of it should be here today or tomorrow. And the body will be done this weekend. I wanted a color that was unique and I think it will turn out nice. More pics to come.

On 2s lipo it crawls pretty good, but I am building this for a trail rig. Right now I am geared 58/11 32p gears, with traxxas slipper. The axles will soon have some nice lockers and under drive gears, to get the gear ratio even lower.

Did you have to notch the motor mount holes at all to fit the 11t pinion?

No i didn't have to notch the motor mount. But I am not using the stock motor plate. I am using an Integy motor mount.

Thanks man. I will soon have the body with stickers, head lights and the light bar mounted. Thanks for all the interest in my build. I am also going to install my lockers in the next couple days, I will post some pics to show which lockers I am using.

I got a little bit of crawling done yesterday with the truck. I am really impressed with how smooth the Hacker motor and ESC are.

Not yet. I hope to get a video this weekend. All I had with me was my cell phone, and it does not take very good videos.

Thanks, I wanted to paint the jeep a color that was not a standard color this jeep comes for the factory with. I still need to make time to install the lights and light bar. I also have new lockers on my work bench, I need to get in the rig.
