Default Fallout3 Sawback build

Having run a couple comps with my new Sawback, I decided it was worthy of a "full love" build as my new class one comp rig.

Electronics are as follows.

Gmade sawback (obviously)
Tekin FXR w/10a CC BEC
Tekin Crawler 45t
Savox 1231 servo
Spectrum SR300 RX
3s 2200mah
-
Reversed knuckles/ hi-steer set up
Gmade CVD front shafts
Gmade CMS
DIY anti-wrap bars
Wraith driveshafts
Proline powerstroke shocks (de-sprung on 80wt oil)

I am going with a Fallout3 theme for this build. If Vault Boy from the latest Fallout games had a vehicle to run around the wasteland with, this would be it.

The initial build of this kit was listed as "Ol Busted" where I used a Scout body on it. I stripped the chassis of all the areas that needed attention and started the rebuild.

I mounted the body as low as possible. It sits right on the transmission housing.

Vault Boy was originally made for the scout body, but his big o' head was too big. Here he is as a work in progress.

Here he is in my modified wraith interior used on project Ol Busted.

We need a roll bar to protect that big o mellon!

Roll bar turned into roll cage.

The cage ended up sitting a little too high. but it was a proof of concept at least.

On the second build of the cage, i got it where I wanted.

To combat the axle wrap and popping drive shafts, I installed a simple anti-wrap bar.

Some stripped down power strokes running 80wt oil

Next up some rock sliders:

Got the first few coats done on the interior and some of the details.

Not ready for prime time, but I couldn't resist a pick this morning

I like it! I think the cage it's a little short, but so is the drive so it works. It has a sporty look to it. Looks great!
