Toyota land cruiser 80

Got a new body coming, should be here soon.
I found a hard body land cruiser body on eBay and had to have one.
Sold some real car parts and had some left over.
Body is not cheap!! 160.99 plus 29.00 shipping!
But it looked to nice!!!
My plans are some thing close to a model I have.

Roof rack bumper are going to be duplicated! I like the look of the model I have
And will start on this when I get back from the ECSC!

Hate to break it to yea, but that's 1/24 scale. Looks good over a micro but with 1.9's.....It'll look a bit monster truckish.

are you sure the wheel base is 313mm as my VX body wheelbase is 285mm. just a little bit of cutting will fix it.

Im about to start the build.

Thks sally.. Looks very nice and a bit big....
I always loved the 1/9 scale... But... You know when you put in a video or some pics next to an hilux or tundra/f350 or even an yj or pajero.. The pics became out of scale...
I't nice if you use it together with a d90/110 or a new bright...

Yes. Hilux, New Bright JK and this 80 are all 1/9.
