Hi guy I'm a bit of a noob to rc's but im hooked now I stared with a wraith and a yeti for my son then I bought a honcho and I love driving the honcho so the wraith is on the back burner for now (will be setting it up later to go fast)

Ok so mods so far are:
staino links with revo rod ends
Front wheel I added weight to 50 grams each
Esc and reciver both moved up front and battery move sideways in front of motor
RR transfer gears
And I have a axial 55t motor in the mail heading this way should get it this week
The stock spur gear has just striped and I'm thinking if I have to replace it should I get a steel or alloy one or keep it plastic and should I change the number of teeth on it and the pinion gear?
I drive a lol of trails and like to crawl rocks with it

Will also be doing up a trail finder body for it that I have

anyone able to help me out with the spur gear what one should I get also should I change the pinion gear?

Whats a good all round 1.9 tyre? Im looking at
INTERCO IROK 1.9
MICKEY THOMPSON 1.9 BAJA MTZ
MICKEY THOMPSON 1.9 BAJA CLAW TTC
INTERCO SUPER SWAMPER 1.9 TSL/BOGGER
I do a lot of trail driving wet / dry dirt, rock crawling
also sand tracks
so need somthing that can do most of it well also what foams and im going to get these rims
Dick Cepek DC-2 1.9" Internal Beadlock Wheels

Very nice I'll be ordering my yeti-x kit soon

Thanks for the quick reply cheers

With a 55t motor the standard plastic spur will be fine, just make sure your mesh is right. If you want stronger , upgrade spur and pinion to 32 Pitch .As for gearing get a few pinions around the size you have and do some runs , and watch your motor Temps. Out of those tyres , I'd go for the Iroks , I hate the Baja claws. They don't stick to anything.

What he said - Forward backward sipped, didnt matter. Unless your spinning them stupid fast they just never seem to hook up.

I'd say go with tsl's or boggers imo
