Can't wait! Go with the slot wheels. Super sexy on my ascender. 1.55's will probably fit yours better though.

Got the chassis together.. Looks great with the locked up hardware..I will be changing the axles to K44s and the U bolt kit...latter on..

Had a problem with the leaf springs being too long and had some shorter ones I used instead.. Had to make some spacers to use the same hardware.. Kit comes with shoulder bolts..

I'm pleased so far....Name: image.jpeg

Small update... Reconfigured leaf spring mounts to be more scale to real truck.. Moved shackles from front to rear.. And moved servo mount more forward.. It will be hidden as a radiator and fan shroud.

There will also be a radiator support also...to be more scale.

they where for a touring car. i modified them a little..not complete doen with them but there close.

got a nice low profile servo for steering duties..Spektrum S6230 311oz of Torque!! servo mount was moved forward to make room for v8 and pulleys..before you could not use pulleys.

the K44s wont work with v8 trans, the pumpkin is on wrong side for drive shaft alignment. and IS not scale to my 1/24 model..(orange part)

so i went with yota 2s and the bolt cover...not as scale correct as i wanted but best i could do...other than have a new k44 made with pumpkin on other side.

spent some time on grille today...milled it out for super scale real. be cause this is a police truck i wanted 2 lights behind grille..and there will be radiator and rad Support..scale to match 1/24 model
