Had the chance the other day to take the truck out on some rock and make it earn some scratches.

Also took out my Cruiser

Then I entered into the the RC4WD East Coast Scale Challenge so I figured I would try out some different tires for it. Since I had my Rock Stompers around I figured they would be the first to be tried out. I have yet to get them in loose dirt but I am happy with them so far.

Looks really nice! But I wonder..

- Did RC4WD shim their own axles? If not, shim them!, otherwise you'll loose the teeth in the gears sooner than you can spell "new gears are pricey"
- How come, with all the effort, they didn't bother to mask and paint the window frames/seals in the side windows?

Don't mind me, that thing is super! Congrats!

Just wrapped up editing some photos from East Coast Scale Challenge. Ran this in class one and it did much better than anticipated. I couldn't have been happier. Plus it was pretty cool that some people recognized it when I was driving around the camp site and the trails.

The RC4WD pull pal was one of the best investments I've made.

Shout out to all the people who made this event possible and strive to introduce new enthusiasts into the hobby.
