wow... i never in a million years would have thought that the cob strip would have survived after being used as a jig and having nuts and rod literally brazed to the backside of it. im curious if it will survive it a second time.

Wow, that is looking VERY nice! Love the wheel and tire combo, and you've done a fantastic job on the tube work.

i tried...

i still gotta do front inner fenders and some kind of headlight supports, gonna use the cobs or at least build it so i can swap them out with something less weird looking if i dont like it or want a more scale option. maybe get a stainless grill made.

kinda thinking about tubing out something up front and getting those loopy shock mounts going on so i can get some 100mm shocks with internal springs and end up with the same travel a 90mm shock would have. right now with the springs inside the proline scaler shocks on both sides of the piston i get 20mm travel, and i'd like juuuust a bit more.

looks like its axial lightbuckets...the round cobs get way too hot to use as intended.

Maybe you could put the small cobs in the axial light buckets if those don't get too hot so they are brighter?

yep yep. they look like they can be used for that.

i could get a stainless grill made and braze some little front clip support, but i kinda want to wrap this build up, and i can always revisit it later.

i would love love love to have a sandblasting cabinet.

well... this thing is getting boxed up and mothballed until after i get real life stuff handled.

when i get back to it i think im going to scrap the toyzuki chassis and rework it for a regular set of steel axle rails so i can run it in c1 as i originally intended.

Could you model the toyzuki rails in CAD and then you could have a set of metal fails cut from the place that cut your sheet metal for the cage.

if i was going to go that far i'd just make my own set of rails and rework the sliders to mount directly to them. with a stock set of rails i could still run the toyzuki drivetrain and my time spent on the interior and transmission/tcase tunnel would still be relevant. and then i'd just remove the toyzuki slider plates and braze the sliders&bumpers directly to the chassis.

we'll see.. its reallt cool as it is for c2, and i do have another really cool c0/c1 idea... just got other things that should be the focus of my time for awhile.
