Soo.. I am going to post this on each of the vehicles involved, But I got a big set of Axial trail markers.... I also happened to have 7 trucks running....Tamiya Prerunner, SCX10 Toyzuki, SCX10II, TRX4 Bronco, SCX10II Deadbolt, GCM Skeleton JK, and the SCX10 BFD Deadbolt. Lined up and ready to play.... (Tamiya was an afterthought) So, there are 7 Videos, each one is a stage, I totaled the time after each stage. This was a no practice run it how you brung it type. If I rolled over I started over. Hope you like it, I found it to be interesting. Stage 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JU8fciEh5eA Stage 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=is3HfpxEpZU Stage 3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C51HLRLKiSo Stage 4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R94yAs2dtp8 Stage 5 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VV9u_pQgGJo Stage 6 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEroQK8otdo Stage 7 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dp9cG9Dfmeg&t=6s Bloopers.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fs7x4nBwNeA So things I figured out.. the scx10II has a bad ESC, the JK struggles, and the SCX10II Deadbolt is pretty good right out of the box. After Pics... Fun stuff, thanks for watching. |

Picked up some BeefTube knuckles for Ascender as the axles in these use those components. This thing is pretty light in the nose even with the motor up front like it is. Before.. Off.. Comparison.. Beef tubes uses a larger inner bearing... Back together.. Other side.. And done.. Videos... https://youtu.be/yzkngbbLilE https://youtu.be/u2Lp0WIMzD8 |

Finally decided to do a little trimming on the Jeep. First to go was the little flat area under the doors.. Next, This bumper hits everything so its time to go. And a cut... Bumper from an Axial Deadbolt will work... Lots more room up in front.. Body bolted back down, bumper fits better now.. And went for a ride with the scx10II Deadbolt... https://youtu.be/An8p_MFbkYs |

Thanks man! this is a really cool rig to work on. Now for the back, you can see where the bumper catches everything! UUUGly without the bumper.. Set a Deadbolt II front bumper in place to see what it looks like.. Yeah...needs a trim. Just for fun, a OG Deadbolt front bumper with the spare tire crammed into it... Ok, now time to get a little more serious... This is how I laid out my proposed cut lines.. I did a horizontal line across the wheel well then drew an angled line down to the body tub...You can see from all the gouges in the body, this is what seems to hit the rocks on the trail. Should stop a lot of the rubbing that I have even with the 4.19's Next post...Cutting!!! |

Ok, here we go, First cut... Then same cut in the front, then grind around with a sanding drum.. Same for the front, cut...cut.. Grind. Like so.... The 4 corners of tape measure flex... With 4.55 Pitbulls... 4 corners again... Up front , back with the 4.19s All the debris... I think it turned out well, should be better wheeling with less rubbage and rock catching on the fenders. |

Thanks... And nice job on the cuts, you are braver than I am. I’ll try a 1.5 wheel/tire combo and hopefully won’t have to cut |
