This is already over in the twin hammers section, but ita a mess of pre build mods and new stuff.

To start off, the chassis setup.

Custom long travel front suspension setup.using AE B5m arms, traxxas slash ultimate CV.s and some hacking and.fitting. Gains half an inch of travel but more importantly, way more reliable CVs. Paired with 100mm kings.

Upright shock mount and bellcrank steering

VP rear trailing arms with 110mm kings.

Metal gear trans running the 2 speed.

Electronics wise its a mamba X, Holmes torque master 3500kv and a hacked flysky 3gtb. Spectrum s2640 steering servo and a Jx waterproof shift servo.

Lighting is controlled by two HeyOK controllers.

This is my first time ever brazing so learning as I go.

Just got a 3d printer also, so dash and interior is being designed.

Grille was designed and printed by myself.

Really struggling now with the front end cage construction.

Have also designed up all the decals I will need.

Have ordered scale hardware from lockeduprc to finish the wheel build and also added a commando winch upgrade kit. Adds a free spool to the 3racing winch.

For the rear lights will be using a Maddog RC KOH light bar plus some eBay special angel eyes to replicate the tailights setup.

Light bar done.

RPM light buckets on 3d printed bracket.

Also, working on a rear cab panel, with integrated rear brake light bar mount and Axial radiator mount.

Just needs a bit more tweaking.

Basically all major components bolted on. Now just a bit more bracing and panel mounting. Then onto hours of die grinding all of my heinous brazes!!!

Big day in the workshop! Fitting time.

First up was final pre paint panel fitting. Few little niggles and not 100% alignment but even the 1:1 has misaligned panels.

Started running the wiring looms onto the chassis!

This thing has a rediculous amount of electrics

- Mamba X utilising AUX, internal BEC running the shift and steering servo @ 6v
- Two speed shift servo, using a servo reverse on AUX to turn crawler mode on in low, rock racer for high gear.
- Custom HeyOK light controller running the roof lights, park lights, MaddogRC KOH bar, tails, brakes, hazards and reverse lights.
- Second HeyOK single output controller with 3 brightness levels running the front 1w headlights.
- Bluetooth RGB controller for colour changing demon eyes in the 1w headlights
- Bluetooth RGB controller for colour changing rock lights
- 3racing winch controller
- LED voltage readout in the dash.

All controlled with a hacked Flysky g3tb radio with 6ch RX.
