Look at the pic directly above the one with the flaming chassis.

yes. i live in 30 minutes from a yota plant. it sucks, cause everyone is driving a yota. chevy nowadays isnt too much to boast for either. i stick to my 100% american steel trucks.

um the flamer is a totally different rig. i was just posting it becuase it was the reason the build has been slow. i just finnished the goat and have been playing with it instead of working. thanks guys for the completments. i got a lot more done including the scale 44 in rollers, and some trick a$$ shocks and steering stabiliers. also worked on the chassis but yall have to wait for pics. ha ha ha

well here is a crude drawing of what i did with the shocks. i turned them down like normal and then went one step further by grinding down the end to resemble the actual shock eye. get some red fuel tubing to match the rancho brand to use as a color matched bushing. i still need to paint mine up but so far the look cool. also i made a realistic steering stabilizer by screwing a servo mount to the axle and mounting the shock shaft directly into where the servo would bolt up. then i brazed a bracket to the stock steering rod in which to mount the shock body to. it really functions and turned out quite nice. ill post up some pictures as soon as possible.

well i finnally got some pictures for ya'll. these are the wheels im using right now. im shooting for the 40 inch tire on 15 in rim look. narrowed tlts with narrowed geos with stock tlt tire sidewalls grafted to them. also here are some shocks i turned down to run on the truck, made the shocks "eye" more realistic, still need to finnish turning down the steering stabilizer.

also i have the stock outer ring that i still need to glue to the front lip of the rim to clean it up. i may find some sort of washer to make some rock rings for it.

sorry for this being so slow i don't really have the funds to hop of this quit yet. thanks for looking.

I like the look of cut and narrowed TLT wheels and tires. Below is a pic of my Clod scaler on an XC chassis, with modded tlt wheels and tires. I sure could use one of you brush guards though!

thanks fellas. i really need to post some pictures, i lost my dang camera i have to borrow the gf(its nicer anyways). i'll try to get some pics up. updates include finnishing all the tires, base chassis, and working onthe bad a$$ runner body. i decided the chevy will be killer but it will never see rocks so i need another body to put on it for when i want to bash, so i used a old nikko jeep body that ive had for ever. i hacked the flares, and made tube fender guards, rock sliders, stinger. i chunked the plastic cage and made a more worthy tube replacement. the whole thing looks very poison spiderish so im totally excited about how its gonna come out plus it features ridiculous details and full interior.

Exclamation friggin update finnally

aight i finnally found time to work on this thing and i am totally stoked on how it it gonna turn out. i got a set of diaz leafs and proceeded to cut the hell out of my finger with one the first 10 min of looking at them. never the less i got to work. locked the rc10gt tranny to use as a transfer case, but now im stumped as to what to use as a tranny. any suggestions would be appreciated. i also mounted the solid mounts on the leafs and i plan to make the shackles tonight or tommorrow, along with the anti-warp links, and steering. i have most of the parts in hand to complete it but ijust got to find time. thanks and enjoy.

solid mount a dogbone to the motor and then the other end to the TC. thats what i was dreaming up yesterday.
oh and how did you cut yourself while looking at plastic springs?

motor-----TC
............./.....\
.....axle.............axle

(periods are for spacing only)

or you could use another tranny unlocked up top and only use one drive side and the other locked in place. then driveshaft to the TC
to the axles. make sense?

thanks fellas, heres more. this is a picture of my transfercase/gttranny. i will be faing up a nice cross member for it soon. also the stock tlt shocks wont cut it on the back so i made some slightly longer one which should provide more travel. also check out this winch thing i found. i need to include it somewhere.
