looks great man

you guys have me looking at the ta02's and cc01's on fleabay

i think i should finish 1 of my 3 rigs before i buy another project

i think the rover looks better on these rigs

then they do on a tlt based rig

What did the wheels come from? They will be perfect to use on the new ambush body that just came out.

That is a very cool project man. I like the whole works, but I gotta say props on those wheels microgoat. You've taken "understated" to a whole new platform. Can you say "Farmtruck" kids? I love it.

I made the wheels from Tamiya 2-piece touring car rims (the outer rims and the center hex) and Monogram Big T (1/8 scale plastic kit) centers. Found the centers on another forum, and no I'm not going to tell you which one, just in case I need to pick up another set sometime

They were originally on my Hi-Lift, in black and chrome, but had the wrong number of lugs for a 3/4 ton and anyway I made the Scout out of that rig so I had them left over.

I have a lot of cool leftovers

gotta love those 1/8 scale models

I used those wheels and glued some hacked tlt hexes to the back of mine
