no movement of this yet i have a tracking number but that's it they will probably cancel the order cause they raised the prices right after I ordered the parts i really hate it when they do that |

That’s bad business and a bummer if they do.

I got lucky a few times buying beadlocks from Ali. I just received my order of the mashigan front leaf conversion kit, and I nust say that the onky difference other than the servo being rotated 90° and a bit further back, the front cross member us near identical. I looked at the parts myself, but shipping made it cost prohibitive |

Such a sweet body that is. Glad you were able to glue it back together. Looking forward to seeing where this build goes. |

I think this is gonna be a redcat gen8 the frame fits the body pretty well the transmission and tcase fit nicely too the scx10 frame ended up being way to short and the trx4 frame just dident fit right I'm thinking a redcat front axle and a trx4 rear for a bit of overdrive and a locking and unlocking rear diff or both trx4 axles or capra axles and going with 2.2s ether way buying parts is on hold till after the hollerdays Last edited by ferp420; 11-23-2023 at 06:32 AM. |

It's coming along nicely. You made the cracks look like they're supposed to be there. I keep telling myself I'm going to weather/petina a body some day....some day!?!? |

i found a gen8 v2 slider that looks to be in good shape so it should be here any day now I somehow ran out of stainless tubing so I can't do the cage till I get more in but at least I'll be able to get it on the chassis and mated together the cage and seats will have to weight Im having a hard time picking a driver I've played out aquadork maybe it's time for a chick driver lol one of those bathing suit models lol anyway still working on it I'll get some pics once I get it in my hands thanks yo I've done a little patina on some trucks that were beat up already but I think this is the first one that's getting the full body patina right off the bat should be interesting to see how it looks after some time on the rocks Last edited by ferp420; 12-20-2023 at 08:34 AM. |

so the doner gen8 came in and I proceeded to strip it down and got the chassis mounted it turned out that the gen8 crossover bumper bolt holes lined up with the rear body mounts and the v2 bumper fits this truck like it was made for it so I'm keeping it i extended the wheelbase by about a inch I'll need to trim the rear wheel arches a bit but I'm liking it on the longer side anyway here's the good stuff |

I got the cage ruffed out I still need to clean the hot metal glue goobs up and make sure it's glued all the way around but it's in I decided to do the cage out of breakline so it's gonna bend and warp and rust and all the other good stuff almost got the patina were I want it at least for now lol anyway it happened cause I got a pic lol |

made some progress on this build got my driver in and all modified to fit made some seats a front bumper made a steering wheel extension the cost to upgrade the redcat axles cost way to much to get them to were I wanted them for about half the price I picked up a set of capra axles with hardened butter internals so I pulled my trx4 axles off of my anti traxxass build and swapped those axles to this rig there's still a lot of details left to finish it but I was able to get it out for some testing anyway some poser shots before I scratching it up since I used the redcat rear bumper I had to figure out the tail lights turns out the lenses are just about the same size as the light buckets in the redcat bumper they clipped right in the only issue I had was the panhard bar bracket wasn't stable enuff so I made a brace to stabilize it so now it's nice and stought Last edited by ferp420; 04-22-2024 at 02:49 PM. |
