Nice work so far. Here's a trick for ya: Take 8 TLT tires and cut 'em in half, use the 1.9 sides to make military tires.

got a little more done on the body, got all the handles on, and got the radiator/exhaust ports, front grill, antenna, front and rear lights all mounted. working on the drivetrain now, at 9.75" WB, things are a BIT tight having to move the upper links and a brace to clear the yokes and the motor endbell. |

got her finished up. the driveline is a bit steep, ive got a new chassis being machined that i droped teh skid plate 1/4", and its also 1/8" aluminum instead of this 1/4" acrylic, which will help lean in the shocks in for better flex. gen 1 stealth and the finished pics the flex shot, im runnin a semi droop setup. 70mm shocks with 60mm springs give me about 1/4" up travel, and 1/2" of droop. i will probly go back to a 60/60mm setup on the front the vintage shot well for the first shafy i ever built this has been one hell of a fun build. |

well the slingers came in today for the "girlfreind scaler" but i had the armored car on the bench with a battery ready to go, so i threw them on it and tested them out .i was pretty impressed. i cant decide if they look too big and narly for this project, or if they look right at home, i know they rub the body bad right now... |
