well heres my latest project, a WWII era armored car. ill hand build the body, and chassis. the plan is to make the turret rotate with the 3rd channel. specs 9.75" WB TLT axles handmade body custom chassis hummer wheels 55T Gen 1 Stealth first step i always design everthing in autocad the chassis the body i got the patterns transfered for the chassis rails onto the 1/4" black acrylic for the mock up rails. the final rails will be machined from 1/8" aluminum. and the rails rough cut. i bolted the two sided together and cut, grind, and drill them together so they match each other perfect. starting on chassis assembly |

Good Job! If the turret is gonna turn, then put a BB gun mechanism in it so you can shoot peoples tires out on the trail if they get in your way. HA! No really, I've seen some RC Tanks that shoot BB's. It looks killer so far. What kind of shocks are those? Have you figured out a choice of tires yet? Keep us posted.

Try onesixthdepot.com. I mean some of that stuff is a little big, but maybe you can find something that works. Loads of military stuff. |

got some more of the panels done, it takes a while cause i have to create each one twice, first the bottom layer is just flat .060 styrene for thickness, then another piece of the diamond plate styrene on top for texture. i decided to leave teh turret off and make it a APC. looks cooler i think. still gotta work on that .50 cal. |

Oooo, it looks good, you should try and get a way for the turret to move, kinda make it like real.
