Nice jumping... and bouncing. That looks like Hot Rod hobbies in Saugus CA. Awesome build.

Stage 3 four-linked: Mounted up my truss from DED engineering for the front axle The four linked front made for much better articulation and performance, but the truck still needed something. Stage 4 rebuilded bigger: First things first, I had to do something about the rusty chassis and hardware so I painted it with rustoleum flat industrial paint The front bumper also needed some beefing up, so I welded in a grille/light protector bar, and painted it black as well The scraped faded flaking paint had to be redone, but first it had to be removed. To give it lift to clear the 40" claws, I reused the links from the four link, but I did drop the shocks on the shock tower and I made some longer/stronger shackles in the rear while reusing the leafs and blocks. The finished product, what I always imagined Combat Chuck was supposed to look. |

Bump for a throwback build that just popped in my head. I loved how he did the "revived from the field" theme. Back in the built from scratch days! |

Now that it's been revived, anyone else think it is time for a step 5? |
