I'm waiting for the tailgate to arrive, along with the wheels. Once all that gets here, I can spray the body (silver) and whip up some custom duallies for him.

The rears will tuck into the fenders, and I'll do a custom offset on the fronts. Since this is sitting on Hi-Lift axles, the wheels need a bit of work to fit under the body.

Should be done this week.

Is everyone using aluminum knighthauler wheels for these dually projects? I've seen a few and they look great but I can't bring myself to trying it because extra High Lift bodies are $100. Are you just using the extra box cut down to make the dually wells? It looks like its going good. I'd be to scared to use the truck after all that.

He used an extra truck bed to make the fenders,

btw bodys are 21.99 on tower for the cab and bed

that doesnt include the grill or bumpers or tailgate though

This one's getting HPI wheels, with a little custom duallie action. Because Hi-Lift axles are so wide to begin with, and the HPI wheels have 1/8 inch of offset, the rears will be added to the inside and I'll work a little magic on the fronts to tuck 'em a little.

Total length is right around 24-25 inches with the bumpers. I've got some new windows in the works, right after I finish up the wheels.

That looks really nice, have you thought about redoing the back window more like a 1:1?
