Just the shocks and body mounts ,and button up the steering, the roof rack the spare tire carrier ,little more sanding cut some windows ,lay down some paint mirrors, door handles and ...............OH hell who am I kiddin Im no where near finished!OK on to pics....

I dont think Im going to keep quite so much flex though?

And Im not sure If the low rider thing is going to work out!!

Yea think Im going to give it a little lift....

much better..

AND a little bode on (well sorta) pics with a little flex thrown in for good measure..

I wish I had your skills. What wheels are those. With the beads sanded off and the rims painted they would look like stock steelies.

The wheels are some old stock my lhs had in a discount box. Im not able to run these with the hexes Its just a center pin which really makes it narrow!I kinda thinking some highlift wheels painted gunmetal in the center with chrome lip would look cool if they dont stick out to far..
Ill have some more updates later thanks for the complements guys...

Default Looking Great!

I bought my wife a 65th Anniversay Ed. Commander. Your detail to the scale is awesome. How have you been applying the filler? Do you use any tools or like a spatula?

I have been using a filler paddle from the local parts store. I wouldnt have had to use any filler If I didnt add an extra body line! Live and learn I guess.

looks good so far. I haven't seen a scratch built body like this completed and painted. I'm curious to see how it comes out.

I don't think Pactra does, but you can use almost any type of clear coat as long as it's safe to use on the foam. I would use an acrylic clear coat.

They are super rare but the old Tamiya wheels for the wrangler have that 5 spoke look, and if you were doing 2.2 HPI makes something I think.
