| commander 1.9 build off entry
This is my 1.9 build off entry, Its a jeep commander made from scratch and if you have never done a body from scratch its a pain in the a$$. just the amount of measuring that I had to do to just get this thing scaled down is insane ... bla bla bla bla ..... on to the pics!!!!! And i decided to change it up a bit on the grill area becouse i plan on making lexan copies of it ... |

You guys who make bodies from scratch must have the patient of a saint... I dont think I could ever do that, I would nit pick my own work to death. Looks absolutely awesome though I cant wait to see it finished. -Mike |

I'm layin the torch down. I don't know how you get your lines so perfect every time. It's amazing. So whats the plan for the guts? Oh, how many times have you glued it to your hands? The worst part of it is accepting the fact that its not going to be perfect. Then its all easy. Oh and when your cat knocks it off a table and blows an entire side off. |

who makes their own bodies?!?!?1 that is just plain sick...i wouldnt even know where to begin on a project like this...whoever says "the kit" is bringing an end to customs and custom builders is not seeing threads like this. rcjeepbuilder you are very talented...and for our sake...keep trying to outdo yourself...

| ! Holy Sh!t rcjeepbuilder! I thought this whole time that the defender was top notch but now this! You've got some skill and some patience. I'd have already broken the wall or my wrist by now just b/c of all the measuring and putting that stuff together. Looks great so far and I guess I won't get in any hurry with my D90 entry now. Keep it up man! |
