Time for a update. I now have it running in final mock up. Everything seems to be working properly. I will post pics later today.

Here are the updated pics. I mounted up a emaxx tranny for pulling power and mounted the electronics up front. It is ust about done, for now.

Some flex shots.

Then the 2 rigs together. The next project it to build a trailer to tow the comp rig on.

Great looking scale rig! I have been thinking about making one also. What are the benefits of that rear shock set-up over what you did in the front?

Thanks guys! The angled rear shocks give a better suspension geometry, while keeping the scale look. I have seen real trucks with shocks this way but never seen any with the front shocks mounted like that. As for the body I think Im going to do the lara croft paint jod with the silver body and the black fenders.

Finally got so more pics to work.

Got a pair of RCP aluminum knuckles (thanks to BCCrawlerz), and have a pair of aluminum C's coming from iwanttocrawl. Also have some RC4WD lockouts on the rear that I got from outcastrc.

The axles C's came in yestorday, and the fropnt half of the truck is finished. Just have to finished the rear half and I post up some pics of it completely finished. If there is enough interest in the frame i might consider making a few more of them.
