Well I decided to go with rockhopperz advice to change the 4 link around and put it in the rear and keep the leafs up front. I also made some mounts for the battery, ESC and RX. Changing the 4 link around really wasn't that bad a little drill and tap in a couple of places and redo the mounts on the truss for better triangulation and some longer links and I was done. For the Electronics I went with the XL-5 because it was laying around and didn't wanna waste a RSpro or R1pro on the brushed motor..... another FX-R will be ordered soon. Steering duties went to a Hitec 5955TG and the tranny shifting uses a 5645MG. The next step is to mount the body but I plan on using 1.9 wheels and don't want to get everything looking good just to have to fab up something else. I still need to change out some screws here and there to hex drive but I think it is turning out pretty good so what do y'all think. PHILLBILLY....... Looks a little better right? I guess it's time to order those Scale Shocks and some wheels. |

Thanks I like the leafs in the front too. I think I'm going to stick some 2.2 w/ 1.9 tires. I think that will look pretty cool. |
