Well I mounted some tires, just the Rok Loxs I put on the EB at first, hooked up a esc, servo, locked the rear steer, and 11.1, ran it.....

This could be interesting!!

Oh oh....

Once again, going with the new Vanquish Currie F9 axles. Hardened gears, XR VVD's, clamping scale "C's", and scale knuckles. Everything's sooo pretty!

More to come.....

Baller still owns it, I'm just doing a bit of an update. He's never driven it, and I'm going to get it going and bound to a 4PL he sent me.

Baller's museum of mothballed crawlers... I'd like to get my hands on a couple of my old rigs he's got and get them muddied up a bit.

Got the rear truss mostly built tonight. This was the easy one....

Looking good. Do these axles need to run a truss ?. I have a pair on order and want to run the front as a 3 link but it looks like the truss will get in the way.

You absolutely have to use a truss. They have a single set screw that holds each tube in. The truss will tie everything together. If you're doing a 3 link, then you may have to build it yourself like I'm doing.

Unlike the Rock Jock (which has 2 set screws and a 3mm button head holding the tubes on) these seem to require a truss of some kind for support.

There's a chance you could drill and tap a hole for a 3mm button head where the red dots are in the picture. It might be hard to start drilling holes in something so beautiful though.
