Default Exo-xj

Well, I just finished this up, so I thought I'd put it up for your viewing pleasure.

It's all pretty standard. Axial, Titan, blah blah blah. The exo and chassis were built by KonaJoe and came out phenomenal. I couldn't be more happy. The exo bolts to the chassis via 8 6-32 tabs mounted to the exo. The screws run through the crossmembers in the chassis and screw into the tabs. Overall, very strong. We just had our TTC yesterday, and I was very pleased with it's performance. Unfortunatly, the driver was a knob and didn't know what he was doing (me).

Here it is. Let me know what you think.

Here's a shot of the chassis under construction.

And at the TTC

Well, after 3 days of sitting in liquid metal, most of the bearings are still seized. Anyone know of any cheap bearing kits?

Know anyone w/ a ultrasonic "jewelry" cleaner? I like to use a citrus oil based cleaner in it.

Sorry Dezfan, I don't. I think I'm going to keep this as my water-based scaler and replace the bearings with some bushings.

I really like how close it sits against the body as well. There's nothing worse than an exo that sticks out way far from the body. KonaJoe did a great job on this.
