Great pics. Love seeing the two buggies together...and the shot of the 1:1s was nice as well. I love those for some reason.

Thanks Bulldog! Having those two together for a hill climb comp was nice.

Here is Colby's video of him riding shotgun in a rail buggy on the hill we were using for the comp. You can spot the green gate makers as he tears past em.

Yes it's a 2wd rail buggy, so those tires up front don't much as far as traction goes. No need for crazy tread if it can't be used.

it had some wicked southern cut 40in super swampers.on the rear that were aired down. them front tires are only there for rolling around on flat ground. cant tell it in my crappy phone video but im pretty positive we wheelied a great portion of that hill. What a blast that was, you would have throughly enjoyed that Richard. Wish i had something i could have helped you with this weekend buddy. Rig looked awesome as usual! Next time i hope to see your pops behind the wheel

Thanks Colby, looks like you had fun going up that hill. As for the yoke failure, I'll just have to upgrade the drivetrain accordingly. Yeah he needs more seat time.

Great to still see this rig still kicking around Richard. It feels like forever since I built that frame!

Oh Chris!! your alive!!! Thanks buddy

As you can see Showtime was sold off but remains local. Snarls JR has had more offers to be bought than Showtime ever did, but it will remain in the family.

I know, it's been an interesting summer to say the least

Good to hear you're holding on to this one. Wish I could say the same about any of the rigs I've ever built. RC ADD

You gotta love those HHH 21T motors on 3S; and I still think Maxx shafts are as strong as anything else out there.

Thanks Grizz! And yep those holmes hobbies motors are sick, I have a 55T, 35T, 21T, and a 23T from Holmes plus 2 BRXL's.

Driveshafts have been upgraded to HPI flux center driveshafts, ring and pinions are now the Axial HD spiral cut ones with the holes in the output, servo is now a SAVOX 500oz, and CC Mamba Pro with CC BEC are in or going in.

Overkill on the trans huh? Sorry, the pics suck

Some new Proline TSL's

Ecoli made this one for me. He has his blue star back so may take orders.

But there are several chassis builders on this site. Not sure if they do southern buggys.

Man, I'm like years late to southern buggy party, but I've been diggin' the southern buggy builds lately, and this is another top notch rig! Looks pretty big next to the Wraith, like pure bred Alabama blacksnake big.

Thank you, yeah it's big, but that's so the wraith axles aren't huge looking. I asked Ecoli to keep things in porportion.

Should I change the name to "Bama Blacksnake" ?
