i got it done lastnight...
i finally figured a way to make drive shafts and it works...
its REALLY slow but has lots of torque....

i havent posted on here lately...heres the latest from my yota..it rained the other day so i took it out ...iam building a 2nd yota now..ill post a threat when i get further along on it...

yep they are ssmt axles...they look like dana 60s or somethin haha...or rockwells per scale..

heres a few tips for taking macro shots (small objects up close, im a bit of a photographer)
back way up and use alot of zoom. atleast 2-3X will help prevent those blurry pics.

well its runnin stock ssmt electronics and servo..nothin special..
my next yota will have xmod electronics..proportional thorttle..steering..
and will be faster than this yota...the black ones a crawler...

oh and those shots are blurry bc the zoom broke on my camera haha

thanks for all the good comments...that is my first mini rc build..iam happy with it...
but my next yota should be 10 times better.........iam goin old school with it haha

Ahh, see now I'm inspired.

I am glad I've had that superslick lot laying around.

Its beautiful, absolutely beautiful. What are the leafs made out of? I've heard people have luck with everything from a soda can to some thin stacked styrene.

well my leafs are from those pull back toys...you gotta destroy the gear box and itll have a wound up peice of metal... and thanks for the comments


and the tires come with the aoshima toyota models...you can find em on ebay
