Default Chaotic Ultra4 buggy "Bad Action III"

I've been bashing my wraith for a while now and decided it was time to separate myself from the pack.

I've been searching for the right tube frame for a while now.

It just so happened that my buddy k9popo got hit by a car and needed to sell off some stuff, so when he posted this chassis up I figured I could help a brotha out And pick up a sick k9 tuber.

Build will consist of...

Wraith axles
Axial aluminum knuckles and c hubs
Mip shafts
Chaotic Titanium links
Chaotic Titanium 4 bend steering link
Wraith Trans with Robinson racing steel gears
32 pitch spur
Losi 17.5
Tekin RS
CC BEC
4pk
3r winch
TSS beadlocks
Proline TSL's
Team 3 six seats
I'm sure I'm forgetting something?

I slapped it together last night really quick just to get an idea of what I'm working with.
I will need to plan out a bumper and decide what body I will end up using.

Here she is as of tonight.

Excuse the mess. I am in the middle of a move and am living out of boxes and clutter.

My wraith already does for the most part.
I'm hopIng this one is as capable.
The shock setup will be a lot different from my wraith setup.

I've been tinkering with link length and shocks the last couple nights.

I finally have found the stance and look I am looking for.

Just need to bend up the lower links now.

I picked up some proline scaler shocks the other day, and boy are they awesome.

They have exactly the look I was looking for and stance.
I also picked up some body panels as well. Just need to get everything situated before I start cutting panels to fit.
I also am hoping to have some time to weld up a front bumper this weekend.

A close up of the shocks.

The frame is not heavy at all. It's made from tube not rod.

I've been searching for a set for almost a year now
Luckily for me a literally brand new set showed up in the classifieds recently

Thanks for the compliments guys

I am loving this rig more and more every time I look at it

I didn't realize they were in the background
One is my first buck and the other is one my dad got a couple years previous.

I used to have an old 1977 Power Wagon like that, kinda burnt orangish brown. Had a ton of fun with that truck.

To bring up background stuff...

Haha. Yeah that Is my dads truck. He used to race it in hill climb competitions and then drive it home. In that pic it's rockin 4 paddles.
That truck was a bad motha!

We just moved in with my mom to help her out for a while. So we are living in the basement which is full of all kinds of interesting things

That is a one off chassis right? And is it class 3 legal width? I would assume it is seeing how you are the one building it, but I was just wondering!

Thx
