I didn't want to make lower mounts so I just said *uck it. The long shackle really help in the flex department. Right Marc.

Test drove it it's an axle wrap monster it bends the rear leafs really easy. Going to add links to the rear to keep the leafs alive.

It's a parma body. I cut the huge fender flairs off.
I'm dying the wheels black right now. Then comes glue. Then comes smile on Cole's face.

I'm getting all the bugs worked out for a gtg this weekend.
Changed a servo horn for a longer one. Fixed a broken drive shaft. Fixed the rear leaf spring problem by a limiting strap.
Still need to mount a body.
Pick up some more lexan for th floor pan and fender wells. Also need more hardware.

Looks great, it should go good at the GTG. No mud, but along the beach there is a rock course that dips in and out of deep water.:-P

Got the bronco muddy for the first time.
It did just as I thought AWESOME a gud rusty mudd bogger is hard to beat.
Also found out it is a really bad rock crawler.
I added the lexan to one side of the chassis so you can't see all the way through to the other side. Still need to do it to the one side to match the other.

I got both side panals made. Put in a 7cell and a 550titan motor. It broke the top shaft in the pede tranny.:-(

I guess I need to build a mudder now. I did get sniders into the water yesterday though! It was progress, small steps.

Hell ya you need to make one. Mud is funner than water.
I don't believe you where are the pics?J/K
Sealling the motors seams to be the biggest problem so far. I keep getting little rocks stuck in there then the amp draw smokes the motor.
Des Moinse was awesome I really want to go back.

Whats teh better tire for mud? Its the clay stuff in the mountains, at our 10 acres, I need a REAL aggressive tires, I might have to buy swampers, and cut hte smaller lugs off and put them on the big lugs.

I'm liking the ghawgs over the swampers. But I have never cut the swampers. Stock to stock the g hawgs work a ton better.

What about running the stock closed endbell cans? Seal the remaining openings and no mud gets in. Sure the heat buildup will also kill them but they might last longer without dirt and rocks entering.
