kydex plate serves as mounting point for the battery and the steering servo.

now to make upper spring mounts

ok that was possibly one of the most nerve-racking things i have ever done...

i mounted the top of the spring by drilling, then taping the bottom of the chassis.. (yeah through the skinny part...) made the new drill press worth every penny..

i flipped a spring cup, shoved it through the spring. and bolted her up..

i love that thing....except if you make one more truck with that body i'm going to shoot my self in the head...lol i love chevy too but i'm more into the older style trucks next time use a clod body

i know i see what you mean, i didnt mean that in offense or anything. i think it looks awesome its probably one of the coolest builds i've seen so far, first is the pre-runner lol
