that shell looks sick on there! definitely keep it. or some sort of camper at least. you consider doing a can-back type of thing on it? that would be kinda cool...

well i painted it..

i was debating between red and black, i wish i would have went black... i botched this up and its all splotchy...

oh well ill just get another body, and now i have a basher for the 3 other trucks too haha

save yourself the cash and get some of this stuff works great i pealed an enitre paint job of a 1/8 body that had a bad paint job and its reuseable http://www.chameleonproductsonline.com/

That stuff is good, but if you can't find it you can also use E.L.O. "Easy Lift Off". It works great to, it might even be the exact same stuff.

sorry it has been a little bit.. i have been sick as hell the past couple days..

mounted the front bumper, made some rock sliders and skid plates...

still have to make a rear bumper, mount the tranny, rear steer lockout, roof rack / tiremount, etc...

the red looks bangin! to be honest, id ditch the lexan topper. Id make a simple tube frame (NOT out of plastic coat hangers ) and do a can-back style topper. I think some black fabric would really contrast the rock rings, sliders, and fender flares, just my .02. Looks like you have the time on ur hands. NICE build though!

made a rear bumper out of two RPM maxx bumpers..

a bit of paint and diamond plate.. and viola!
