WOW i cant believe its been almost 3 years since Ive been gone from this forum. Im starting to get back into scale Rc again. Ive been working on customer rigs again and with some help from my mini me's I dug out all my trucks. The Blazer is by far in the worst condition. I now have all the other trucks up and running so the Blazer is next on the list. This rig is BEAT!!!! I love the way it looks, it has so much character now, Beat just like the 1.1. I will post pics tonight when I get home. Looking forward to reconnecting with many of you.

I just read this whole thread start to finish. Love it man. Amazing work. I'm in love with the early Blazers/jimmies and you did right by it. Get it back out there and have fun with it!

thanks man i appreciate it. I think Im gonna clear the body and repaint the chassis, clean the rest of the rig. idk yet.

Yessir! Rigs are looking good, glad you held on to everything. The blazer definitely has a little more patina than when it was new

Well Im actually working on this thing again. Truth is I work my full time job plus a part time at night. Im up at 6, get the kids off to school, and i dont get home until after 9pm mon-fri. I barley see my family, def dont have much free time. Well I finally found some time after work. So far I have stripped the car down and decided to rebuild it as a 1.9 rig. I really think it will handle better and look more accurate to the 1.1 buggy. My question is, Do i keep the thread here, move it to the 1.9 section, or start a new thread in the 1.9 section?

I plan on making it out to a comp soon. We leave for Disney land in 5 days, then I have the Raptor Rally, (a sand drag race Im in), then our a Goldendale trip. After that Im wide open and can start being social again. Im really looking forward to reconnecting with many of you.
