Here is rockmikes winch installed on the bumper and installed on the truck. I will be replacing his line with some 96# sturgeon nylon fishing line. Lights wired up Lights off shot of the led's Rear Front |

why are you ditching the leafs? I love that frame. Is your steering stabilizer filled with fluid? What weight? Does it stress the steering servo at all? I just read thru this thread and you have done a great job.

With the leafs it was just too stiff. Yes the diaz chassis is a great frame. Steering stabilizer is just a empty shock just there for looks. |

I got some new tires in today. They are 2.2 rocklox. Yes they look big for the truck but I built this rig after my brother in-laws big chevy. |

I did this build to copy my brother in laws big chevy that he built. It was in petersons mag some years ago. He sold the truck sometime ago. But I added some changes to his rig. By adding the flatbed and rock sliders and winch. The real rig was built in 1995 had 12" lift and 39.5 super swampers on it. He checks it out my build every time he stops buy. Each time he loves what I do to it next.

I'm toying with doing a droop style for the shocks to lower it and make it not so top heavy. |
