thanks

the rear to me is looking good but the front is probly going to get hacked off and start over. ive watched these build and thought man i could do that but i tell ya it way harder then it looks. my bends are all difrent and out of square this will have to be the test buggy and then ill build another hopefully more fine tuned and buttoned up.

doing this gives me great respect for the builders here who seem to do this kinda stuff in theyer sleep

I think it is a good start, and the more practice the better. I have wasted a lot of material making it and re-making it...

I found the same thing when trying to wing the design. Nothing was even, or square.

Once I made templates however, everything came together in minutes compared to hours.

Heybig props to you for givivng it a go. Looking good also for your first. Like Harley said, drawing it out to scale will help, although I just wing it every build. Just seems that when I said down and try to put it on paper, it ends up looking like a cookie cutter rig.

Anyway, keep at it. You really can't be taught how to build these kinda rigs. If you know how to weld or braze, that's really all you can be taught. The rest is all imagination. So just practice, practice, practice.

Can't find my others thread.

This Miller Fab rig has seen a lot of changes and is looking to see more today.

I got some lockedup wheels and man they're sweet.

Sweet. Thanks for the tips.

I don't mind using this thread. Better then starting another new thread and kinda cool to see photos of my first attempt and current rig.
