Well the main part of the chassis is done now just got to do some cosmetic work to finish it up. I would have some progress pics but I got sidetracked on a little custom creation for TNCrawler. I'll be back working on it tomorrow and then it's off to get powder coated

200 more little tubes and you're there!

They don't call them spaghetti buggies for nothing! Oh and if you really want to ruin your fun...try to hide all your electronics and do an interior! It will surely be the last southern buggy you build for a while! Hijack!

Lmao spaghetti is an understatement I think I've bent more tube already than spaghetti I've eaten my entire life. I couldn't even begin to fathom hiding my Electronics behind an interior I'd probably shoot myself in the head first lol. I'm still very jealous of that moon rover buggy

I like the term: "Ten pounds of shit in a five pound bag"

Another buggy? Not for a long time!!! Still have the hangover.

Its coming to the point where im going to be cramming 10lbs of shit into a 1lb bag. I got my little custom creation done and out of the way so i can finally get down to doing all those nice little pieces of rod that will undoubtedly drive me further over the brink of insanity, plus adding aluminum body panels is going to make this even more of a headache but in the end when I flip and roll it, I'll have the missing powdercoat and dents in the panels to prove that I beat the crap out of it

Build it pretty, take some pictures, and take it out back and teach it a lesson.

Got a few more bars welded in and another trip on the wire wheel and grinder. I've been referring this rig to my friends as ugly betty lately. Here's a couple pics feel free to laugh at my work

Just have a question... now when you're building these are you thinking about how your gonna get all you electronics into it neatly and where to put them ?? and are you going to do some kind of scale interior and some side panels?

Usually yes, you build around your drive train and where you want to mount your electronics/interior if you do one. This buggy will not have an interior as I have a feeling is going to a loaner rig for those who come over and want to see what you can do with a southern buggy without them having to fork over a $2000 deposit on Showtime.

My a.d.d must kick in more often than yours I've got as much done In 2 months as you did in what seems like a few days maybe a couple weeks. The chassis looks killer, fat girl or not its still a great build.

Now for what I've been waiting for. The paint choice. It turned out to be bolder than I thought but nonetheless still pretty badass.
