Default Fab4Ward Ultra 4 Build

It was just brought to my attention that I didn't do a build thread on my ultra car so I thought I would go ahead and do one! I started messing around with brazing several months ago and have done 5 chassis now. The current chassis I'm running was the third one I built. My son is currently running the first chassis I built so it will surface in several of the pictures throughout this post!

Here we go:



I use DOM 3/16" tubing for my builds. For brazing I use a MAP gas torch with 45% silver material.





It takes me about five hours to get the base laid out right..

After I had the base exactly like I wanted it, it was time to frame in the cab section





I know it doesn't look like much but getting to this point is about a 10 hour commitment!!
