Thanks man. It's starting to come together. Started putting the chassis and axles on last night. Luckily the mounting hole options on the CBE rc chassis rails mean I don't need to bend the upper links to clear drivelines. However with a 15" wb standard MIPS aren't going to reach the rear axle. The front worked with a wraith cvd output. Just threw in a maxx shaft on the rear so I could have it hooked up. The vanquish antirock sway bar is pretty dang nice I must say. Probably the best made sway bar I've used. Overall she's sitting on her own legs. Now it's time for battery tray and other addons. Mocking up in grid paper before cutting Al sheet. I got the battery tray complete. It's a little tight with the body on but it works! I just had to tackle the most important scale accessory. Can't be a Heavyd Sparks based truck without the stacks. Brass tubing from the hardware store. Cutting and setting the output angle, then brazed. Cut the outputs and cleaned them up with the belt sander. Mocking up in the cage. I cut the bottom to taper it in and bend out a mounting flange. Mounted up. And now they're painted flat black....Roll Coal!!! I took an exoterra grill and machined out the back so I can mount it to the front winch. It sticks out just like the 1:1. Now it's time to get the wheels ready. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Thanks a lot guys! This has been a really fun project.the light at the end of the tunnel is getting closer and closer. After a lot of drying time, the wheels are painted! Got the bottom pan for the roof rack cut out of the perforated al sheet I have. It's finally time to tackle the electronics. Everything has a place on the two electronics trays that side saddle the motor and trans. But the wires are a big mess I have to deal with. The sound card side isn't so bad. Couldn't resist firing it up now with all the stuff hooked up. Everything works!! Not always the case when you first hit the go button ;) I think the 3 front lights are pretty bright... Since I have all the radio channels used I have the lights on a toggle. Switch on the bed. I also have a toggle switch back there to switch between the front and rear winch. With the winches working, I had to spool up some new locked up rc winch line! Also got the roof rack lights wired. I couldn't take another blinding pic as the few electronics that weren't waterproof are hanging and drying liquid tape right now. Next thing to do is get the axles sealed up for the final time and waterproof the servos...then she's ready for a maiden voyage. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Thanks man. Yes I was pleasantly surprised by the lights. Adding the roof rack has made this thing a real night run champ. Had to start finishing up some of the scale items. It definitely needs some King shock reservoirs. Took some 1/4" Al round and sanded/polished it. Cut 4 1" pcs out and drilled tapped 1 end of each to put a 3mm grub screw. Then printed off some King decals on vinyl. Since it's a round surface. I wrapped the decal in packing tape. Adds some water resistance and keeps it wrapped on the reservoir. To mount them I put a thin strip of double sided tape on the back. The. Used 2 zip ties. I think they'll stay well. To simulate the hose I toke some 20ga wire and heat shrinked it to the grub screw. I originally wanted to add a actual connection to the shock cap. However they are pretty thin and I don't want to chance breaking them. As she sits right now it's running and driving. Not quite ready for a full reveal as some small items need to be finished. Here are some teaser shots. I can't wait to get this on the trail at Our Byron g6. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

| #BRODOZER - Class 3 F350 - Diesel brothers rock buggy Replica Thanks Lee! A couple functional upgrades came early this week. FIrst is the delrin skid for the rear axle. It is a necessity of you plan to crawl with these axles. Then I was lucky to find not one but two supershafty extended 3.4" MIP shafts. Thank you so much Farmer and Bananaclip for selling them to me!! Here's one next to a standard MIP I went to my buddy Phil's (orange58crush) after work last night for the shakedown run. Time to pop her cherry and get on some real trails and obstacles. Let's just say she performed awesome!! The rear steer is killing it on tight obstacles and finding traction. I love the pb growlers for the trail. Even when the lugs fill up with mid they still seem to find traction. Then it was getting dark and I had to test the lights. Can't wait for Byron on Sunday!! | Re: #BRODOZER - Class 3 F350 - Diesel brothers rock buggy Replica Thanks man! Had a bit of a scare tonight. The esc had a very deep throttle curve which was fine but not what I really like. So I decided to change it. Had a hell of a time getting castle link to sync. Finally got it going. Changed the curve. When I went to reflash, the connection dropped...I was like mother F Couldn't get it to reconnect successfully so I just plugged it back in and all of a sudden I had full throttle out of the gate with just minor throttle input. Well somehow when the connection dropped the castle link flashed this curve. How do I know this...well I called superdrty and went over to his place. Same situation on the castle link. It wouldn't stay connected. Till finally he asked why I didn't have a battery plugged in. I've never needed one before. The usb voltage has powered the link and turned the esc on. For grins I plugged in the batt and boom recognized in castle link and I was able to reflash. Phewwww. Dodged a bullet. While I was over there I took some pics with his F250 mud truck he's bringing to Byron. Pretty nice pair of Fords! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Thanks! I haven't yet. I'm going to try and get some good ones at the G6 this weekend. Quote:
Thanks! I'll keep that in mind but she'll probably be in the garage for a while. Quote:
Thanks! If we ran class three up here it would. I built it mostly for the trail but could point pretty well in class three if I ever got the bug to travel. It's big and heavy so it wouldn't do great but it would look good doing it I primarily wanted it for G6 style events and TTC. We're in the initial planning of a TTC late summer... It's all together and ready for this Sunday's G6 style event with my yeti and my Nukizer. Pics from the trail will be posted by Monday. Last edited by dna4engr; 05-21-2016 at 06:08 AM.

The #brodozer killed it today in the G6. My buddy Phil and I won the timed event. No breakdowns and didn't even need to winch over the toughest obstacles. Loving this truck. Only a little damage sustained... Oh yea, and I sent some pics to heavy d and diesel Dave Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
