Yep, I currently have a stock battery tray and supports mounted in the front. I have the MMX on the rock sliders and the Rx will likely be mounted on the opposite rock slider.

Ignore my untidiness... Some progress has been made since.

I like that set up. I could run small packs for comps, and larger ones for bashing around. It looks like the spur nut touches the plastic battery tray frame. But it obviously doesn't touch right?

Correct, its above the spur gear. I'm pretty sure I can get the spur gear cover on there. The battery tray is mounted sturdy so I'm not worried yet.

So here we are ready for an indoor crawl get together Sunday. Pretty excited to test her out. Still need to get the BEC connected.

Then after Sunday it's time for the real fun. Dlux goodness going in here, ham bergler transmission. Yummy!!

Nice! Looks like you moved that battery around. What wheelbase are you at?

Right at 12". I don't know if that's good or bad , but my SCX10 2 is about the same.

A smidge longer huh? Do I change my links to get that wheel base?

No just use jato rod ends and trim them to the length you need

Well now I understand the importance and reasons for beef tubes. Stupid dog bone axles, I have Universal's on order but now I have to get axle housing's and Beef tubed. But at least the Dlux knuckles fit! Love Dlux parts.

Just started to mock up the Dlux Ham Berger transmission on my rig while I'm waiting for my axle parts to come in. And I don't know where to post about the Ham Berger transmission? I watched Eriks video on assembly, but now I need to mount it in to the skid. I might have to be a little creative. Any ideas?

149 r/c worx can make you a flat skid blank without holes so you can mount it where you want.

What SnapOn said, I have a 149r/c worx flat no hole skid in my new 1.9 build so I could place a t-case where I want/need it.
