| Fifties Willy's Truck
Been away for a while but ready to get back into R/C. I have some parts I bought awhile back for another build I'm going to use. Parts list, GCM Racing axles loaded with Vanquish goodies, and CBRB Fab Ti shafts. Mayhem wheels, Pit bull RB II's and CI foams. Wraith skid SCX10 trans and Shocks. More to come. I don't comp so this will be a high riding trail rig. Scratch built cage, and styrene body. Rat Rod style. 1/2 inch square stock bent for frame rails. Last edited by Mt.Dew; 04-14-2017 at 05:19 PM. |

| Re: Fifties Willy's Truck Thanks, not my idea seen it on here but it works good. Thanks, Front will be stretched compared to a 1.1, back will be short. No bed just shock towers. |

OK, some shock mounts and we have a roller. The rear will have panels with holes filling them. Also added a couple more bars to the roof. Last edited by Mt.Dew; 04-15-2017 at 07:19 PM. |

After a few days of deciding what to do for a front bumper, I came up with this. Last edited by Mt.Dew; 04-18-2017 at 03:56 PM. |

Brazed in the rear panels got the stinger on the front, and added a mount for the battery tray between the front shock mounts. Time to start some styrene work. |

Starting to look like a Truck. Heating the styrene to curve the sides of the hood distorted it a little. Was going to smooth it out with Bondo, but I kind of like it. Mite help with the RatRod look I'm going for. Last edited by Mt.Dew; 04-24-2017 at 03:46 PM. |
