| Wroncho build attempt
I have been reading the forums on wroncho builds and decided to try and build one myself. I went with an aftermarket skid and transfer case to eliminate the driveshaft rub issues. I also used brake line tubing to make custom length links. So far everything seems to be coming together quite nicely. On the way from online shopping is a honcho body, light kit, from cms from vanquish, a driveshaft to link the transmission to the transfer case and some wheels and tires. I will be doing a 3 link setup with panhard once the cms is installed. Please tell me what yall think so far and if you see any major issues with it so far. |

Not sure of the name brand. I found it on ebay. Bought it to see if it would work for this build or not. I am thinking it's going to get hung up when crawling over stuff.

see how it looks once you've got the tyres mounted up anyways, might not look like as much of a problem, unless you've done so already

I have the wheels but not the tires yet. They are in shipping from ebay along with drive shafts. So far I think it might be okay. Will post pics with wheels mounted once the tires arrive.

| Re: Wroncho build attempt Are you making your own links ? Mine are made from 1/4" brake line tubing and 8/32 all thread. I cut the brake line tubing to 3 3/4". Then 8/32 all thread was cut long enough to go through the tube and attach rod ends. I didn't want to bend any links so I opted for the center drop down chassis plate and transfer case. With this setup I literally have no binding or rubbing on the drive shafts when flexed. Brake line tubing was bought from an auto parts store in 4' pieces and the 8/32 all thread was a home depot purchase. I used revo rod ends. Hope this helps.
