I don't. My servo's are pretty sedentary, they just sit in a big pile. I do need to encourage them to get more active though, they're starting to put on weight.

Servos are overrated.

I just use a crapload of torque and built in alot of torque twist to my rig so I can turn. Much stronger without the jointed shafts anyway...

Those are badass! What is the conversion of 23N@6mm/s to the oz/inch we're accustomed to with standard servos?

Lets see some pics plz!

23N=5.17lbf
5.17lbf*(16oz/1lb)*(12in/1') = 993oz/in

Slow speed is the trade-off for the huge power. 5sec for a full stroke.

That's between you and Kevin and it sounds really, really personal, so I'll keep out of that.

Ahhh for Pete's sake! Can Mr. Moderator & Mini-Moderator please stay on topic?? We're talking about servos (and linear actuators) here.

Thanks,

Rich C.

Of course I went there. I mean, Kevin tells me a lot about his personal life, but I'm sure he doesn't tell me everything. And he tells me even less about his "team".

Um, yaaaaaaa... I'm starting to think you have something else in mind when you asked if you could come over and use the mill to make room for your servo..
