Default What did I learn @ SARCCA 2012 Camp and Crawl

- I learned that I need to Loc-tite the heck out of my rigs!
- I learned that drinking and swinging a 20lbs log splitter is not a good idea. No matter how big you are!
- I learned that keeping your own score card is not the best thing to do at a non-official event.
- I learned that Gate 60 is a bitch!!
- I learned there is no end to what you can do with styrene.
- I learned that G6 events can be physically taxing.
- I learned that 1 bag of chips can be passed around a camp fire of 15 men three time without anyone making a concious effort to stop it.

-I learned that no matter how tight you think you have something snugged down on your rig. There a good chance you might lose it on the night course.
-I learned the my fire can eat a 24" around log when all else doubted that it could.
-I learned that it took almost 13 gallons of water to put out the coals from that burn..LOL
-I learned to have my rig ready to go before I get to the camp ground.

- I learned that filling an air mattress in 75 degrees is not a good idea when the overnight low is expected to be around 58

- I learned that the truck im sleeping in the back of needs to be backed in to the parking spot so I can take my 5 min 3am pi$$ from off the tailgate and not cause 9 charlie horses trying to put on shoes to go to the woods.

- I also learned that all body panels need to be sprayed with 50 coats of wd40 to slip under or through most gates.

- I also learned that 5b headlights, while big and bright, consume more juice than 10 daycares.

- Last but not least, I learned that a 2 foot diameter stump cannot be split with a 20lb maul no matter how drunk you get. I believe almost everyone learned this one.

-I learned that a 9 man tent is just right for a family of 4... plus a dog.
-I learned that a stock-ish Wraith is a ton of fun on a G6 event.
-I learned that the stock steering on a Wraith leaves a TON to be desired.
-I learned that I need more batteries
-I learned that I need more lights and working winches (plural)
-I learned just how much sh!t I can shove into the back of my JK.
-I learned why Erin likes G6 so much. And for this I thank him and Wes sooo much. We will be back in October for the next one. Preperations are underway now...
